Astana will close traffic on a section of Sherkhan Murtazy Street from October 26 to November 3. The restriction applies to the stretch from Kerey, Zhanibek khandar Street to Uly Dala Avenue. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The closure is due to road surface repairs, the capital's akimat said.
Repair dates and section
The traffic restriction will be in effect from October 26 to November 3. It covers the section of Sherkhan Murtazy Street from Kerey, Zhanibek khandar Street to Uly Dala Avenue. Motorists will not be able to drive through this stretch.
Temporary signs and routes
During the works, road services will install temporary signs and indicators. Drivers and pedestrians are asked to plan their routes in advance and take the changes into account when moving around the city.
