In Astana's Nura district, a metal fence at a residential complex under construction fell on a girl. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Medical assistance was provided to the child at the scene. The construction site chief has been held administratively liable.
According to information provided by the Nura district akimat, the incident occurred on the construction territory of the "Oyu" residential complex. The metal fence fell due to strong wind. Construction workers had installed it last autumn.
"During installation, taking into account the location of the cable networks of the "Femida" residential complex, at the suggestion of residents, the fences were moved to another section. The apparatus of the akim of the "Nura" district explained to the developer the need to reinforce the fences in order to comply with safety requirements," the official statement says.
In addition, the construction company is obliged to lay milling material at the specified section by September 20.
