The RoboTechnoGirls 2026 summer educational camp has launched in Astana, aimed at boosting girls' interest in robotics, artificial intelligence, engineering and modern technologies. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On July 1, the first shift of the camp began with 35 female students aged 10-13. Due to high interest in the project, a second shift will start on July 13. This summer, more than 50 girls are expected to participate in the RoboTechnoGirls camp.
According to city administration officials, during the five-week educational program, participants will learn the basics of robotics and programming, and get acquainted with artificial intelligence technologies. They will also work on team projects and attend master classes and lectures by women specialists in STEM fields.
The program includes excursions, practical sessions, and a final robotics tournament. The RoboTechnoGirls project has been held for the third consecutive year. It has become an important educational platform that increases girls' interest in technological education, develops engineering and digital skills, and helps them make informed career choices.
