A woman gave birth in an Astana hotel and then flushed the newborn baby down the toilet. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on July 15, 2026. Hotel staff noticed blood stains in the restroom and called the police. When officers arrived, they found the baby's body in the sewer system.
