In Astana, a patrol police officer helped urgently deliver a citizen with a severe head injury to hospital, the city police department reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
A driver of an Audi S4 car asked for help from Bakytzhan Amanbay, a service inspector of the patrol police regiment and a senior police lieutenant. He said his friend was in the car with a severe head injury and asked for assistance in urgently delivering him to hospital.
“It turned out that the man was injured when a pipe hit his head while he was carrying out work on installing water pipes,” the statement said.
Realizing the urgency of the situation, the police officer escorted the car carrying the injured man and ensured his unimpeded passage to the hospital. As a result, the injured man was delivered to the medical facility in a short time.
