The name of the Mazhilis has been removed from the parliament building in Astana. The Senate name on the building will also be removed shortly. This is because the new Constitution came into force on July 1. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the new Constitution, the powers of the parliament have been terminated, and the mandates of the deputies of the Mazhilis and Senate have ended.
