In Astana, 25 people, including seven children, were rescued during an apartment fire. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The fire occurred in a six-storey residential building on R. Koshkarbayev Avenue in the Almaty district. A report of the fire was received by the "112" dispatch center. Arriving units determined that household items were burning in one of the apartments on the fifth floor.
During firefighting, Ministry of Emergency Situations personnel rescued people. The fire was extinguished.
The ministry reminded that in case of fire, one must immediately call 112.
Earlier, "Kursiv" reported that in Temirtau, during a fire in an apartment on the eighth floor of a ten-storey building, one person was hospitalized with signs of poisoning by combustion products. Three others were led out of the smoke-filled building by rescuers using rescue hoods, and the fire was extinguished over an area of 25 square meters.
