In Astana, partial traffic restrictions are being introduced on two road sections due to work on the construction of the second phase of Tarlan Astana. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The restrictions affect Syganak and Aitmatov streets. Drivers are asked to plan alternative routes in advance and to take road signs into account.
Earlier, Kursiv wrote about the construction of the first LRT line in Almaty. It officially began in early June 2026. The line will stretch for approximately 18 km, with 34 platforms planned along it. On the section from Abylai Khan Avenue to Almaty-2 station, trains will operate in autonomous mode.
At the end of June, work reached Tole Bi Street, where preparations began for the future tracks. Because of the construction, motorists lost two lanes, while public transport passengers have to stand in traffic jams and wait for the new line to launch.
The akimat stated that all construction work is planned to be completed by the end of 2027.
