The Tarlan Astana light rail system has carried 3.1 million passengers since its launch. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to a statement on the official website of the capital's akimat: "Currently, the average daily passenger flow of the system is about 70,000 people. This indicator shows that it is in high demand among residents and guests of the capital."
The akimat noted that Tarlan Astana is becoming one of the main types of public transport in the capital, providing passengers with fast, comfortable and convenient access.
It is worth noting that the implementation of the second stage of the Tarlan Astana project in the direction of Kosshy has begun. The project will further develop the capital's transport infrastructure, increase the accessibility of transport links and create comfortable conditions for the movement of residents and city guests.
