A worker fell while installing an air conditioner on the 15th floor in Astana and was left in a dangerous position. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the incident occurred in a residential complex on Sauran Street in the Esil district. While installing an air conditioner on the 15th floor, the worker fell and hung on, holding onto the air conditioner's bracket.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and used an aerial ladder to lower the man born in 1990 to a safe place. Rescuers brought the man down from a height of about 50 meters.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminded that safety requirements must be strictly observed when working at height and personal protective equipment must be used.
