In Astana, police uncovered an unusual combination of esotericism and gardening. During the 'Karasora' preventive operation, officers found a home marijuana plantation in the apartment of a local resident who conducted Tarot card readings. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
According to police, the 54-year-old woman had set up a small phytolaboratory inside her bedroom closet. She installed artificial lighting and other necessary equipment to grow the plants.
'Furthermore, a medical examination confirmed that the woman was under the influence of narcotics,' the police statement said.
A criminal case has been initiated. The seized plants and equipment have been sent for examination, and investigative actions are ongoing.
