Astana plans to build another road bridge across the Yesil River. It will run along the extension of Hussein bin Talal Street between Al-Farabi Avenue and Shamshi Kaldayakov Street. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
This was reported by journalist Adil Baltabayev.
Where the new highway will run
The new highway will connect the left bank with the Almaty district and the area of the Nurly Zhol railway station. It will be designed for eight lanes of traffic.
Redistribution of traffic flow
According to Baltabayev, the new bridge should partially redistribute traffic flow from Mangilik El Avenue, Syganak and Uly Dala streets, as well as relieve the Arys bridges and the bridges on Tauelsizdik Avenue.
What happened earlier
Earlier, Kursiv wrote about how a new bridge was opened in Astana to the VIP embankment of Dariga Nazarbayeva's mansion.
