A man killed his ex-wife in Astana. The incident occurred on the evening of September 23. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to information circulating online, the woman had parked her car. At that moment, the suspect opened the car door and inflicted a knife wound on her.
The deceased is survived by two children. According to police, a criminal case has been opened on the fact of murder.
The suspect was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. "Currently, investigative measures are being carried out to establish all the circumstances of the incident," police say.
