A man in Astana has been arrested on suspicion of stealing electrical cable worth 21 million tenge from a facility where he previously worked as a security guard. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Polisia.kz.
According to the investigation, the total value of the stolen property is 21 million tenge. During operational search activities, a 31-year-old suspect was identified and detained. He has been placed in a temporary detention facility.
The police noted that the suspect was well aware of the facility's structure, security system, and the location of material assets. He may have used this knowledge to commit the crime. Investigative actions are ongoing.
