A child was electrocuted near a football field in the Otau residential complex in Astana. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
In a video circulating online, two children can be seen fiddling with something on the sidewalk near the football field. A few seconds later, a fire broke out due to a short circuit in the wires.
According to the health department, on August 16, the child was admitted to the intensive care unit in serious condition. "The condition is serious, stable. Today the patient was transferred to the burn unit," doctors said.
It is worth noting that earlier in the village of Dolinka, Karaganda region, a 10-year-old child was electrocuted with 6000 volts.
