Earlier, a video circulated on social media showing a suspicious man grabbing a boy (approximately 9–11 years old) and forcibly dragging him into an abandoned yard with old tires. Fortunately, passersby noticed the incident in time, rescued the child from the stranger, and called the police. In the published footage, the frightened boy himself confirms: "In short, one uncle kidnapped me."
Patrol officers who arrived at the scene promptly detained the suspect. The incident occurred on June 5 in the Almaty district of Astana, near secondary school No. 13.
