The investigation into a criminal case against 15 members of an organized crime group that organized a brothel in Astana, including involving minors, has been completed. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
Investigation findings
The investigation established that between 2023 and 2025, two sisters together with their spouses organized a "brothel" for providing sexual services in residential complexes.
The organized crime group included security guards, administrators, as well as individuals who advertised services through social networks and messengers.
How girls were recruited
"The organizers searched for girls in the city's nightclubs, promising them high income, housing, security and confidentiality," the statement said.
In addition, the criminals, taking advantage of clients' alcohol intoxication, used force against them, extorted money, and also illegally detained them in rented apartments.
Detention and referral to court
All 15 participants were detained, and preventive measures in the form of detention and house arrest were applied to them.
The capital's prosecutor's office sent the criminal case to court.
