The Astana akimat has published a list of events dedicated to Abai Day. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

On August 10, the great poet and thinker Abai Kunanbayev would have turned 181. In this regard, literary and musical evenings, forums, book exhibitions, theatrical performances, creative competitions, intellectual games and other events will be organized in Astana.

August 7

Until the end of 2026, residents and guests of the capital will also be able to see theatrical performances dedicated to the life and work of Abai:
