On August 9, traffic will be temporarily restricted on several streets in Astana due to the Jüregımnıñ Jeñımpazy charity run-festival. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Drivers are asked to adjust their routes in advance.
About the Festival
According to organizers, Jüregımnıñ Jeñımpazy will be held in Astana for the ninth time. This year, about 7,000 participants and guests are expected, including doctors, post-transplant patients, athletes, volunteers, and residents of the capital.
The start will be at 7:00 AM. Participants will be offered distances of 10, 3, and 1 kilometer. The festival area near the "Uly Dala Eli" monument will open at 5:30 AM.
Program for Guests
Guests will enjoy a children's zone, food court, fair of Kazakh brands, free medical express check-ups, and CPR training. Performers include Orynkhan, Markhaba Sabi, Berқut, and Aisha.
Statistics and Purpose
As of May 21, 2026, 4,739 people in Kazakhstan are waiting for organ transplants.
The raised funds will be directed to support transplant centers and educational projects in cardiac surgery and transplantology.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that over 172,000 Kazakh citizens officially registered their position on posthumous donation via the eGov portal.
