A 68-year-old man removed his pants in public while passing through a metal detector at the front office of one of the administrative buildings in the capital. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

Police officers identified the man. He turned out to be 68-year-old Rizabek Zhumagaliyev, a resident of Ust-Kamenogorsk.

"By his actions, he showed clear disrespect to those around him and violated generally accepted norms of behavior in a public place," police said.

The man was brought to administrative responsibility for petty hooliganism. The case materials were sent to court. Police published a video of the incident.
