Police officers discovered a social media account of a man who posted videos with obscene language and demonstrated alleged drug use. A court arrested the content author for 10 days, police reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Law enforcement identified the page during social media monitoring. During the check, they established the identity of the account owner — he turned out to be 36-year-old Rustam Mukhametrakhimov.
For publishing unlawful content, the man was brought to administrative responsibility. By court decision, he was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest.
In addition, the check confirmed the fact of non-medical use of a narcotic substance. For this, the man was also held accountable.
"A criminal case has been opened on the fact of illegal handling of narcotic substances without the purpose of sale. Necessary investigative actions are being carried out," police reported.
The final legal assessment of the man's actions will be given based on the results of the pre-trial investigation. In accordance with the Constitution of Kazakhstan, a person is considered innocent until their guilt is established by a court verdict that has entered into legal force.
