The Astana Education Department has announced the ongoing enrollment campaign for first grade for the 2026-2027 school year. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
As of today, more than 30,000 children have been enrolled in first grade. It is planned that about 35,000 children will cross the threshold of the capital's schools before the start of the new school year.
Parents can submit documents for enrolling their child in first grade electronically through the "e-government" portal – www.egov.kz. It is also possible to submit documents in paper form by visiting the school.
Required documents for admission to first grade: - application from a parent or legal representative; - "Preventive vaccination card" (No. 065/у); - "Child health passport" (No. 052-2/у); - digital photo of the child measuring 3×4 cm.
When submitting documents in paper form, a copy of the parent's or legal representative's ID is also provided.
Parents can obtain full information about the admission procedure for first grade from schools at their place of residence or on electronic portals. Document acceptance began on May 28 and will last until August 31, the city administration reports.
