In two districts of Astana — Nura and Almaty — a total of 32 mothers of large families were awarded state honors. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

In the Nura district, eight mothers received awards. Four of them were awarded the 'Altyn Alka' badge, and four more received the 'Kumis Alka' badge.

In the Almaty district, a ceremony was held for 24 mothers of large families who made a significant contribution to the country's demographic development and strengthening family values. Among them, seven mothers received the 'Altyn Alka' badge, and 17 received the 'Kumis Alka' badge.

The Astana city administration emphasized the important role of mothers in society. According to the administration, a mother's work is a daily great responsibility requiring boundless kindness, patience, and all efforts. Mothers contribute significantly to maintaining warmth and harmony in the family and ensuring the continuity of generations.

It should be noted that the 'Kumis Alka' badge is awarded to mothers who gave birth to and raised six children, while the 'Altyn Alka' badge is awarded to mothers who gave birth to and raised seven or more children.
