In Astana, on the day of Abai Kunanbayev, about 200 students simultaneously performed the poet's famous song "Kozimnin karasy". This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The musical flash mob "Uly dala aueni: Abaidyn an muragy" was aimed at widely promoting Abai Kunanbayev's musical heritage, increasing the interest of the younger generation in national art, and uniting pupils of private supplementary education organizations on a common creative platform.
The event took place in the open air. The mass simultaneous performance of the song became an impressive musical spectacle highlighting the richness and value of national song art, the message said.
The joint performance contributed to revealing children's creative potential, developing performing skills and stage culture, as well as strengthening respect for national heritage.
The flash mob was also supported by representatives of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs in Astana.
