Astana will experience temporary power and hot water outages on August 19. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Power Outages
According to the city's iKomek109 center, most of the work on power grids will take place from 08:30 to 16:00-16:30. In some areas, electricity will be cut off during the following intervals:
- 01from 09:00 to 12:00
- 02from 09:00 to 16:30
- 03from 09:30 to 16:30
- 04from 10:00 to 12:00
Planned works will affect, in particular, the streets and residential areas of Shyngystau, Kaiyndy, Sulukol, Ardagerler, Sumbe, Kartaly, Kyzylsu, Suvorova, Akzhol, Gogolya, Kurmangazy, Saraishyk, Kunaeva, Kulindy, Ondasynova, Taibekova, E-248 and Tashenova.
Outages will also occur on Telebaeva, Besbalyk, Saryn, Koshkarbaeva, Ainakol, Ozbekali Zhanibekov, Orkhon, Zhumabaeva, Akhmetbekova, Kordai, Bulbul and a number of other addresses.
Reasons for Outages
The reasons for the temporary power supply restrictions are major network repairs, installation of equipment and cameras, installation of metering elements, as well as tree pruning.
Hot Water Outages
From 08:00 to 17:00, hot water supply will be temporarily suspended in some houses on K. Azirbaeva, A. Bokeikhanov, Al-Farabi, Kerey and Zhanibek khans, Kosshygululy and Kumisbekova streets.
The outages are related to work on heating networks, including leak repair, installation of tie-ins and dismantling of individual pipeline elements.
iKomek109 clarified that all restrictions are temporary and related to planned repair work.
