Astana is considering a one-time social payment for more than 110,000 pensioners ahead of the Day of Older Persons. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to a statement published on the official website of the Astana akimat, the capital is considering providing a one-time social payment to pensioners on the occasion of the Day of Older Persons.
"For age-based pensioners registered in the capital, as well as citizens of retirement age receiving the minimum pension amount, a one-time monetary payment in the amount of 2.5 monthly calculation indices is envisaged," the statement reads.
This social assistance will cover more than 110,000 age-based pensioners.
Thus, the capital's akimat plans to implement a support measure for pensioners ahead of the Day of Older Persons. The payment is intended for age-based pensioners and citizens of retirement age receiving the minimum pension amount. The payment amount equals 2.5 monthly calculation indices.
