On July 13, unfavorable meteorological conditions are expected in Astana and three other cities of Kazakhstan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to Kazhydromet, adverse weather conditions are forecast during the day in Astana, and at night in Ust-Kamenogorsk, Ridder, and Almaty.

Experts explain that unfavorable meteorological conditions occur when calm weather, light wind, fog, and temperature inversion combine. As a result, pollutants accumulate in the surface layer of the atmosphere, leading to deteriorated air quality.

Forecasters warn that during such periods, the risk of negative health effects increases, especially for people with chronic diseases.

Air pollution levels are influenced by wind speed, precipitation, humidity, and air temperature.

Residents are advised to reduce time spent outdoors, especially near roads and other pollution sources. Children and pregnant women are recommended to avoid long walks.

People with respiratory and cardiovascular diseases, as well as allergy sufferers, are advised to carry necessary medications. Experts recommend limiting outdoor physical activity and, if possible, moving workouts indoors.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that a storm warning was issued for July 13 in Astana, Almaty, Shymkent, and all 17 regions of Kazakhstan.
