The 25th round of the Kazakhstan Premier League has concluded. On the final match day, Astana routed Elimai, Tobol beat Ulytau, and Altai defeated Kaisar, leaving the relegation zone. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
Astana – Elimai 4:0
Astana scored four unanswered goals against Elimai – 4:0. At the end of the first half, Ivan Bašić scored a brace within five minutes, after the break Marin Tomasov found the net, and Ramazan Karimov sealed the result from the penalty spot. Goals: Bašić 40 (1:0), Bašić 45 (2:0), Tomasov 49 (3:0), Karimov 66 pen (4:0).
The victory allowed Astana to reach 45 points and solidify third place. The capital club now leads Okzhetpes by three points. Ahead remain Ordabasy with 55 points and Kairat with 54. However, the Almaty side have played one match less than the leader.
The goal moved 39-year-old Tomasov to the top of the KPL scoring chart. The Croatian now has ten goals. Roman Murtazaev and Tobol forward Uroš Milovanović have nine each.
Tobol – Ulytau 3:1
In Kostanay, Tobol took the lead twice after the break and defeated Ulytau – 3:1. Milovanović scored a brace, with Vitaly Lisakovich adding another. Aslan Akhmedov scored for the visitors. Goals: Milovanović 16 (1:0), Akhmedov 37 (1:1), Lisakovich 60 (2:1), Milovanović 90+2 (3:1).
The Kostanay side collected 31 points and caught up with Ulytau, moving up to seventh place on tiebreakers. The Zhezkazgan club dropped to eighth.
Altai – Kaisar 2:0
In Oskemen, Altai secured a crucial victory in the fight to stay in the Premier League. Dragan Stoisavljević opened the scoring as early as the fifth minute, and in the second half Sayf Popov doubled the hosts' advantage – 2:0. Goals: Stoisavljević 5 (1:0), Popov 61 (2:0).
Altai earned 22 points and left the relegation zone, rising to 13th place. Kaisar remained on 20 points and dropped to last, 16th position. Irtysh have the same number of points and sit one place above.

After round 25, the top three are Ordabasy – 55 points, Kairat – 54, and Astana – 45. Okzhetpes with 42 points are fourth, Aktobe with 38 are fifth.
