In the capital's Saryarka and Baikonur districts, on the eve of Republic Day, the patriotic campaign "Menin Kazakhstanym!" (My Kazakhstan!) took place. As part of the initiative, more than 200 flags of Kazakhstan were hung on the balconies and streets of multi-storey residential buildings in the two districts, according to the official website of the Astana akimat. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The initiative was supported by Astana youth, residents of the Saryarka and Baikonur districts, as well as representatives of the "Zhasar Ruhy" youth wing of the "Adilet" party.
Thanks to the active participation of city residents, the flags of Kazakhstan decorated residential buildings and streets, creating a special mood on the eve of the national holiday.
