Residents of Astana can compete for cash prizes in the republican marathon 'Reading Nation'. The project starts in September and will last six months. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to the capital's akimat, participants will need to read 15 books, pass testing and intellectual quizzes.

Winners in different categories will receive 600,000, 450,000 and 300,000 tenge for first, second and third places respectively.
