A man in Astana was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest for appearing without clothes in a public place. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The case of petty hooliganism was heard by the specialized inter-district administrative court of the capital. According to the court, the man was naked in the presence of others, disturbing public order. The report does not specify where exactly the incident occurred.
At the hearing, he pleaded guilty and repented. The circumstances of the incident were confirmed by an administrative protocol, his testimony and a video recording from the scene.
"The court found the man guilty of an offense under Part 1 of Article 434 of the Administrative Code and imposed an administrative arrest for a period of 15 days," the statement said.
When choosing the punishment, the court took into account the circumstances of the case, the man's personality and his behavior before and after the incident. The ruling has not yet entered into legal force.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that police in Astana detained two men after antics in apartment building entrances. One took off his underpants on a stairwell landing next to a baby stroller, while the other, in his underwear, vandalized an elevator.
And in Ust-Kamenogorsk, police had to deal with a man in women's clothing and underpants on his head.
