In Astana, police officers of the Baikonyr district have identified the teenagers who painted the walls of the capital's underground passages. The minors applied various inscriptions and drawings, including indecent ones, which caused complaints from residents on social media. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Since the offenders are minors, administrative measures were taken against their parents under Article 435 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Republic of Kazakhstan ("Petty hooliganism committed by a minor").
The press service of the akim's office of the Baikonyr district noted that utility services carry out sanitary cleaning daily and regularly wash the walls in the passages, but the constant appearance of unauthorized inscriptions nullifies these efforts.
City authorities urged Astana residents to treat public places with care, maintain cleanliness and respect common property.
Earlier, "Kursiv" wrote that more than 1,000 inscriptions advertising drugs were painted over in one day in Karaganda, Temirtau and Balkhash, according to Polisia.kz. The simultaneous raid involved over 200 police officers, volunteers and public activists.
