Astana police will operate in an enhanced mode during the international tournament 'Games of the Future – 2026'. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
From July 29 to August 9, the unique competition combining digital technologies and traditional sports will attract the world's best athletes, international delegations, fans, and tourists.
'During all stages of the international event, police officers will serve in an enhanced mode aimed at maintaining public order, ensuring citizen safety, and preventing offenses,' the official statement said.
Additionally, special attention is paid to road safety. Traffic will be regulated near competition venues, and comprehensive measures will be taken to prevent congestion, ensure unhindered passage of special vehicles, and maintain pedestrian safety.
In this regard, temporary traffic restrictions may be introduced on certain streets.
