A police car was involved in a traffic accident on the Astana–Petropavl highway, and a law enforcement officer was injured. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The incident occurred on November 3. According to police, the driver of a JAC T9 vehicle, failing to maintain speed and distance, collided with a police car that was ensuring road safety and escorting special road equipment.
“A criminal case has been opened. A pre-trial investigation is underway to establish all circumstances of the incident,” police said.
As a result of the accident, the law enforcement officer was injured and taken to hospital.
