KazAvtoZhol National Company has reported that a section requiring urgent restoration works was identified on the 413th kilometer of the Astana-Pavlodar direction. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
"In the conditions of established hot weather, special attention is paid to preventing temperature deformations. Road services are working proactively to prevent warping of concrete slabs and emergency situations," the company noted.
To ensure traffic safety, temporary road signs were installed, after which road services began work. The repair includes dismantling the pavement, constructing a crushed stone base, and laying asphalt concrete mixture.
As noted by the company, specialists and all necessary equipment have been involved in the work.
Earlier, preventive measures were also carried out on this route, including cutting expansion joints and local repair works aimed at reducing internal stress in concrete slabs.
