Abnormal heat continues in Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan has again reminded residents of Astana and Akmola region that the thermometer will rise to 37-40 degrees. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to weather forecasters, in Astana there will be variable cloudiness, no precipitation, wind 9-14 m/s. Air temperature at night +17…+19°C, during the day +35…+37°C.

In Almaty, variable cloudiness, no precipitation, wind 3-8 m/s. Temperature at night +20…+22°C, during the day +33…+35°C.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that weather forecasters advised Kazakhstanis to prepare for the hottest week of summer.

According to Kazhydromet forecasters, the intense heat in Kazakhstan will last at least another week. However, after the hot week, long-awaited cool weather may arrive.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges citizens to take precautions: avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours, drink plenty of water, and wear light clothing. People with cardiovascular diseases should be especially careful.

Forecasters predict that in the coming days, heat will persist in the northern and central regions of the country, and it will also be hot in the south. Only towards the end of the week is the arrival of cool air masses expected.

Kazakhstanis are advised to drink plenty of fluids, wear light clothing, and use sunscreen. Also, children and the elderly should not be allowed to stay in the sun for long periods.

Ministry of Emergency Situations officials also urge compliance with fire safety, as hot weather increases the risk of fires. In Astana and Akmola region, fire services are operating in enhanced mode.
