Storm warnings for October 10 issued in Astana and 14 regions

Fog, strong wind and fire danger are forecast in Astana and 14 regions of Kazakhstan on Saturday, October 10. Storm warnings were issued by Kazhydromet. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Akmola Region

In Akmola Region, fog is forecast at night and in the morning in the west, south and center.

Atyrau Region

In Atyrau Region, fog is expected at night and in the morning in the west and south, as well as in Atyrau. High fire danger persists in the region, with extreme fire danger in the south of the region and in Atyrau.

Zhetisu Region

In the east of Zhetisu Region, high fire danger persists.

North Kazakhstan Region

In North Kazakhstan Region, fog is forecast at night and in the morning in the west and south. At night in the east, gusts of southwesterly wind will reach 15-20 m/s.

Karaganda Region

Earlier, Kursiv wrote that warming is expected in Kazakhstan on October 10-12: in the south and in Kyzylorda Region, daytime temperatures will reach +23…+28 degrees, and nighttime frosts will retreat.
