On the occasion of Capital Day, a large-scale cultural and public program has started in the capital. It includes concerts, sports competitions, festivals, family events, and the opening of new public spaces, according to the official website of the city akimat. Starting at 11:00, festive concerts are taking place in the residential areas of Ondiris and Kirpisti in the Baikonyr district, in the Prigorodny residential area of the Esil district, in the Aigyrzhal park in the Nura district, in the Onerkasip residential area of the Saraishyk district, and in the Korgalzhyn park in the Saryarka district.
The holiday program includes various events for residents and guests of the city. Each district hosts events with its own features, designed for family recreation and an active lifestyle. Sports competitions and festivals are also organized.
According to the city akimat, the opening of new public spaces is also being carried out as part of the festive program. This is aimed at expanding recreational areas for residents and improving urban infrastructure.
