Over 200 events will be held in various venues of the capital for residents and guests on Astana Day, the official website of the city administration reported. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The celebration begins on July 2. At 15:00, the State Academic Philharmonic named after Y. Rakhmadiyev will host an award ceremony for winners of the republican aitys "Bairagy biik baitagym". At 17:00, the Park of Peace and Accord will host the "Taza Fest Astana" festival. At 19:30, the National Guard orchestra will perform a concert on a motor ship along the Yesil River.
On July 3 at 09:00, an environmental event under the "Taza Kazakhstan" campaign will take place in Samal Park. At 10:00, the Palace of Schoolchildren named after M. Utemisov will open a photo exhibition "Astana – Shabyt mekeni". At 11:00, the youth open-air festival "El zhuregi – Astana!" will begin there. Also at 11:00, the "Ekinshi omir" contest will be held at the eco-hub. At 15:00, the National Museum will host an award ceremony for young families who participated in the online contest "Menin Astanam – menin otbasym". At 16:00, the Park of Peace and Accord will host the children's festival "Kishkentai kurylysshylar – ulken Astana". At 19:00, the amphitheater in front of the Kazakh National University of Arts named after Kulash Baiseitova will host a concert "Dalamyzdyn unisin sen, dombyra".
On July 3 and 4, the Philharmonic named after Y. Rakhmadiyev will present the premiere of the plastic ballet "ALEM" – "Astana, men seni suiemin". From July 4 to 6, the Astana Circus will have a festive program. The "Merekelik sayak" festival will be held on July 4 at the Museum of Arts, and on July 5-6 at the Central Park.
On July 4 at 09:00, the Kids Run race for children aged 6-15 will take place on the ski-roller track in Central Park. At 18:00, the Urban Fest street sports festival will be held at the skate park near the Sana Sport sports complex.
On July 5 at 17:00, the Palace of Peace and Accord will host the concert "Asyl mura". Participants: Serzhan Mursain, Perizat Turarova, Ozgeris Sherikbay, Beibit Musaev, Ardak Balazhanova, Nurzhan Zhanpeisov, Almas Almatov, Elmura Zhanabergen, Marat Sugirbay, Kunsulu Turikpen, Aigul Kosanova, Dastan Yesentemirov, Aigul Yelshibaeva, Kazbek Adikey, Medet Salykov, Klara Tolenbaeva, and Gulmira Sarina. The same day, the Amphitheater will host a concert for National Dombyra Day. On July 5 and 6, a city performance festival will take place. At 08:00, the SARYARQA RUN mass race (16+) will be held on the embankment near the Yryskeldi Kazhy Mosque.
On July 6 at 10:00, Triathlon Park will host the "Zhas Kyran" tournament (freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling, Kazakh kures, judo). At 11:00, the Lovers' Park will host the "Astana sakasy" asyk atu tournament. At 16:00, the city square will host the "Tolagay" strongman competition. Festive concerts will be held in residential areas. At 12:00, the House of Friendship will host the festival "Onermen nurlandan – askak Astana". At 18:00, Open Air concerts will begin near the "Kazakh Eli" monument and the Astana Arena stadium.
On July 7 at 19:00, the Palace of Peace and Accord will host the "Zhaidarman" youth festival. At the same time, the Amphitheater will host the concert "Astana – arman kala".
On July 8 at 15:00, the National Academic Library will host the literary platform "Kalamger ustakhanasy". At 19:00, the Philharmonic named after Y. Rakhmadiyev will host the musical evening "Samgau" dedicated to the work of composer and dombrist Bauyrzhan Makayev.
On July 11, winners of the city stage of the republican contest "Mereili otbasy" will be awarded. On July 11-12, the "Kazanat" hippodrome will host the international gastronomic festival BaiQymyz, with kumis producers from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia (Yakutia) participating.
