On Capital Day – July 6 – 448 babies were born in medical institutions across the country. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On the holiday, two sets of twins were born in Kazakhstan, both in the city of Astana. The highest number of newborns: in Turkistan region – 67 babies; in Almaty city – 44 babies; in Shymkent city – 40 babies; in Almaty region – 40 babies.
"Specialists of medical organizations providing obstetric services ensured safe and high-quality medical care for pregnant women, women in labor, and newborns around the clock," the Ministry of Health said.
The ministry wished the newborns and their mothers good health, well-being, happiness, and a bright future.
