A special musical performance dedicated to the work of the prominent composer Shamshi Kaldayakov took place in Astana. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
On the occasion of the composer's birthday, artists of the Musical Theater for Young Spectators of the Astana city administration performed his widely known songs in the city space, presenting them to the audience, according to the official website of the capital's akimat.
During the performance, young artists performed such famous works of the composer as "Arys zhagasynda", "Sagynyshym menin", "Bakyt kushagynda", "Ana turaly zhyrt", "Kushak zhaigan kandai adam", "Zhan kurbyim" and "Kaiykta", the report says.
The artists positioned themselves near a piano installation where Shamshi Kaldayakov's works were performed and gave a performance.
This allowed young artists to present Shamshi Kaldayakov's work to today's audience in a new way and convey the composer's rich legacy in a modern format.
