Three new factories have been launched in Astana's Industrial Park No. 1 ahead of Capital City Day. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

According to the Akimat of Astana, projects by Heart Center Foundations, Nomad Tech Engineering, and TAZAU have attracted billions of tenge in investment to the city's economy.

One of the commissioned facilities is Heart Center Foundations, a plant producing plastic medical devices that will manufacture 12 million units per year. The investment in the project amounted to 4.155 billion tenge, creating 54 new jobs.

Additionally, the Nomad Tech Engineering plant for the production of heating units has started operations. About 2 billion tenge was invested, creating 40 jobs. The production capacity of the enterprise is 19 units per year.

Also, the TAZAU plant worth 510 million tenge has begun operations, producing block-modular polypropylene treatment facilities (LOS, KOS, KNS). It created 60 jobs. The enterprise will produce 200 units annually.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that Heart Center Foundation was in the final stage of launch. It was put into operation in May 2026, with full production planned to start in August. The plant is expected to reach its design capacity in September 2026.

Previously, it became known that construction and installation work began on a new waste processing plant in Almaty. In addition to its main function, it will also be able to generate electricity. The project is being implemented in the Alatau district with the participation of the Chinese company Junxin Environmental Protection. It will be able to process two thousand tons of waste and generate 60 MW of electricity per day.
