An international photo exhibition titled "From the Depths of Centuries: Kazakh Culture in Photographs" has opened at the Museum of Fine Arts named after the Great Saparmurat Turkmenbashi in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by heads of museums in Ashgabat, representatives of the UN and OSCE, members of the diplomatic corps, media representatives, as well as city residents and guests.
The main goal of the exhibition is to introduce the Turkmen public to the history and culture of the Kazakh people of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and to present unique photographs stored in museum collections to the general public.
The photo exhibition dedicated to Kazakh culture has opened in Ashgabat. The event was organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan.
