Kazakhstan's national team won a silver medal at the Junior World Artistic Swimming Championships in Hungary. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.

Our athletes took second place in the team acrobatic routine. They scored 203.1 points. Russia won with 232.2 points, while Belarus took bronze with 201.0.

The silver medalists from Kazakhstan are Yasmina Islamova, Dayana Dzhamanchalova, Sofia Ishchenko, Makpal Kalmurza, Polina Merzlyakova, Aldiyar Ramazanov, Aiganym Saim, and Anastasia Voronkova.

This is Kazakhstan's third medal at the current Junior World Championships and their second silver. Earlier today, Yasmina Islamova and Aldiyar Ramazanov finished second in the mixed duet free routine. The team's first medal was brought by Viktor Druzyn, who won bronze in the men's solo technical routine.

The Junior (U19) World Championships are taking place in Budapest, Hungary, from August 12 to 16, with 300 athletes from 35 countries. A total of 11 medal sets will be awarded. Kazakhstan is represented by 12 athletes.
