Arsen Tomsky, founder of the international service inDrive, brought Kazakh hospitality to the Burning Man festival in the Black Rock Desert in Nevada. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The entrepreneur, together with participants of the Kazakh camp, baked a large batch of baursaks and distributed them to hundreds of festival guests. The published footage shows the treat being served right in a yurt, with traditional dishes and sauce.
"We brought a bit of Kazakh hospitality to Burning Man. We baked baursaks and handed them out to camp guests. An absolute hit!" Tomsky wrote.
Participants' Reaction
The baursaks, judging by the participants' reaction, were indeed a hit: guests actively tried the treat and took photos with the Kazakhs. In the comments, the post was already called a great way to showcase Kazakh culture abroad.

Kazakh Gastronomic Actions
This is not the first Kazakh gastronomic action at this year's Burning Man. Earlier, a group of Kazakhs set up 11 yurts in the desert and treated festival participants to beshbarmak.
Burning Man is an annual festival of art and self-expression, which in 2026 takes place in Nevada from August 31 to September 7.
