In Kazakhstan, an average speed control system has been launched on five more toll road sections. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

The new system has been installed on toll road sections in five regions of the country. Control cameras calculate the average speed of vehicles and issue fines for speeding.

The system is introduced to improve road safety and prevent traffic accidents. The average speed control technology allows measuring the average speed of a vehicle over a certain distance.

The fine amount is determined depending on the degree of speeding. Drivers are advised to follow road signs and speed limits.

This measure is implemented as part of expanding the speed control system on toll roads in Kazakhstan. Previously, similar systems had already been introduced on several sections.
