More than half a million vehicles passed through three newly opened toll roads in just one month. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to KazAvtoZhol, over 528,000 vehicles traveled on these routes in a month. These are the sections of the Karaganda – Balkhash – Burylbaytal, Burylbaytal – Kurti, and Taldykorgan – Oskemen highways, where toll mode was recently introduced.

Highest load on Karaganda – Balkhash – Burylbaytal section

"Especially many cars traveled on the Karaganda – Balkhash – Burylbaytal route. In this section, 290,000 vehicles were recorded in a month, reaching approximately 55 percent of the total," the road company said.

Thus, over half a million vehicles used the three new toll road sections in one month:

  • 01Karaganda – Balkhash – Burylbaytal — 290,000 vehicles;
  • 02Taldykorgan – Oskemen — 181,000 vehicles;
  • 03Burylbaytal – Kurti — 58,000 vehicles.

When was the toll system introduced?

It should be noted that on the Karaganda – Balkhash – Burylbaytal and Burylbaytal – Kurti sections, the toll system was introduced on July 10 this year, and on the Taldykorgan – Oskemen route on July 11.

Among the three sections, the highest load falls on the Karaganda – Balkhash – Burylbaytal highway.
