A 16-year-old teenager was bitten by a snake in Aktobe. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Kursiv Media.
The incident occurred in the gardening collective 'Avtomobilist-2'. The snake bit the teenager on the foot. Relatives called an ambulance, after which the victim was taken to the hospital and admitted to intensive care.
According to preliminary data, the teenager may have been bitten by a viper. The regional emergency department reported that he was given anti-snake serum.
The teenager is currently continuing treatment. His condition is assessed as moderate severity.
Earlier, Kursiv reported that a man died under the wheels of a train in the Atyrau region.
Also, in the Turkestan region, a fuel truck with a capacity of 10 tons caught fire at a nuclear power plant, after which the fire spread to the cladding of an administrative building.
