In Aktobe, a road conflict ended in a kidnapping. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.

According to the regional police department, a call was received on channel 102 reporting that several men had forcibly placed a man into the trunk of a car and driven off in an unknown direction. The kidnapping was captured by a dashcam of a passing vehicle.

As a result of operational search measures, police officers with the support of special forces stopped the Lexus car carrying the suspects and detained them. Police said the incident was caused by a road conflict.

"The victim was crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing and made a remark to the driver. Later, the suspects came to the victim's home and waited for him. When the man left by taxi on his business, they blocked the road and stopped the taxi," police said.

Then the suspects forcibly removed the victim from the taxi, put him in the trunk of the Lexus, and drove away. An investigation is underway. The suspects have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
