Two children of a 26-year-old woman who was killed at a wedding palace in Aktobe have been placed in a children's home. This was reported by Qazaqyia.kz citing Sputnik Kazakhstan.
According to KTK, a decision on who will take custody of them in the future will be made in accordance with the law.
«Due to family circumstances, two minor children were placed in the «Үміт» children's home», the report says.
The situation is under the supervision of the children's rights protection department and law enforcement agencies.
«Decisions regarding the children are made in accordance with the procedure established by law and taking into account the legitimate interests of minors», said Amangeldi Konakbayev, head of the Aktobe regional children's rights protection department.
Recall that the children's mother was stabbed to death by her ex-husband at the wedding palace. The suspect has been detained.
